The Ablyx KORAT™ is a Single Board
Computer (SBC) for Linux.
This product is intended for OEM and system integrators in
applications demanding low power consumption, high security, remote management and wide range of interface options for present and future needs.
With 8W total power consumption. PowerPC processor with crypto engine, fiber optic network interfaces, extended operating temperature range and Linux kernel bootable from redundant FLASH system, Korat offers very low cost of ownership and great flexibility.
The Korat board is application ready. Board support for the U-Boot loader and Linux kernel are available, and Ubuntu can be installed without any additional programming effort. Further distribution packages, for example Asterisk or Freeswitch, can be installed from the Ubuntu distribution or compiled and installed from their source code.
Linux-based development build and debugging tools can also be installed for developing new Korat applications -- developers can immediately start developing and testing, as on any other headless Linux machine.
Our value proposition is simple and powerful: We design, support and manufacture the hardware. We also make sure that Korat is supported by open source U-Boot and Linux kernel. We are available to customize both hardware and software for particular application.
